Email marketing & automation

Biography

After our #CH2020 kick-off session on November 20th, we asked our attendees what topics they would like to have for the upcoming keynotes. In the top 3: email marketing (automation). Email is a really strong channel to build up relationships with prospects and clients. It’s also a really good direct sales channel. I was happy to see that you as optimizers want to learn more about how to be effective with email and automation.

I still remember the 2016 live edition at Texel we had a well-received keynote by the wonderful Dela Quist. Dela applied data and psychology to email marketing and convinced us all to do more with email.

Searching for a good email marketing automation speaker I remembered Jessica Best. Jessica is a well-known speaker on email marketing in the US marketing speaker circuit and I had the pleasure of meeting her when we both spoke at a conference in Dallas / Fort Worth back in 2017. I still have some fun cowboy games pictures of that – I’ll show you one introducing her live on our virtual stage on January 21st.

Jessica is one part massive email and data-driven marketing nerd and one part permission-marketing evangelist. She acts as a strategic consultant and subject matter expert for brands and businesses internationally. She’s lead trainings and spoken in front of audiences from a dozen to over 1200 from Las Vegas to New York City. Jessica’s primary role is as Vice President of Data-Driven Marketing at Barkley, implementing the marketing best practices she preaches for Barkley’s own clients.

I’m happy to have her as a speaker and I’m looking forward to her marketing automation talk: Using Data to Drive Email Marketing Relevance and Revenue.
