Biography
Simply accepting that you may not get the outcome you hoped for is part of a solid experimentation culture. Last year we lost a guide before we could enter the jungle, a guide who was supposed to take the stage at Conversion Hotel in 2025. Unfortunately, a sort of jungle fever kept her from joining us. So I’m especially happy that she agreed to try again to make her Conversion Hotel debut at #CH2026:
Siobhan Solberg – Privacy pioneer, spirited data advocate, and an inspiring force who brings clarity and energy to the complex world of data responsibility.
I’ve witnessed Siobhan take the stage on several occasions. Privacy and governance can quickly become heavy, or, let’s be honest, boring topics. Not with Siobhan. Her talks are fast-paced journeys packed with sharp observations, practical insights, and truth bombs that stay with you.
Demystifying Data Responsibility
Businesses have become incredibly good at turning people into data. But somewhere along the way, we risk forgetting that the data is still about people.
Under the #CH2026 theme “Mystic World – Reveal the Truth,” Siobhan will challenge some of the assumptions organizations make about customer data. Do organizations really own that data? Is governance mainly there to keep Legal satisfied? And should we use everything technology makes possible simply because we can?
Siobhan will reveal why customer data is not just an organizational asset, but a responsibility. Good governance should not merely protect an organization’s legal position. It should help people make better decisions about what data to use, how to use it, and when not to use it at all.
This is not a talk about slowing down experimentation or AI-powered decision-making. It is about making sure that the decisions we accelerate are better decisions we can stand behind.
Enjoy Siobhan on stage at #CH2026. Siobhan, I’m very happy we get another chance, and thank you for accepting again!
