#CH2024: Ruben de Boer
Biography
Ruben likes to optimize things, and he has developed the mental, theoretical, and technical skills to do so. He has a business school background, has lived in different cultures, and has 10 years of CRO work experience. This experience has steered his focus to optimizing optimization programs, to experimenting with experimentation programs, and to learning how to build a solid culture of experimentation in any situation.
When did you meet Ruben? I met Ruben when he was working at Sanoma, when he suddenly popped up in my in-house workshop (organized by Matt Roach, a #CH20217 speaker). An eager, passionate, and dedicated CRO specialist. We connected, and Ruben grew to Head of CRO at Sanoma, and then suddenly ended up at the best agency in our industry: Online Dialogue (yes I’m biased), where he is the lead of all CRO consultants.
Why did you invite Ruben? He was a backup speaker last year and did not have to present. No, that’s not the reason. Building an experimentation culture may be the biggest challenge in our industry. It’s in high demand at any company and is Ruben’s favorite topic. This newly crafted presentation has not been shared yet, so I’m happy that the Experimentation Elite practitioner of the Year Award ’23 winner will be doing this at #CH2024.
