#CH2024: Marta Mijatov
Biography
Over the last 3 years, A1 Telekom from Austria has successfully transformed how they test, learn & make decisions in their Digital Customer Management division. One of the key instruments for this transformation is their unique experimentation rewards program, which made them the winners of the 2024 Experimentation Culture Awards team award. Marta wants to share what she learned from growing this program to inspire others to build an environment where experimentation can thrive.
When did you meet Marta? Digitally, in Ronny Kohavi’s masterclass on A/B testing, followed by a live meeting at Experimentation Elite in London, followed by Marta visiting the #CH2023 event. This inspired Marta to apply on behalf of A1 Telekom Austria for the Experimentation Culture Awards 2024, which led to me interviewing her and her colleague Stephan about growing the Experimentation Culture at A1. Intriguing steps they are taking!
Why did you invite Marta? Marta wrote an excellent application for our updated 2024 keynote speaker competition and submitted the required video pitch. She explained how their experimentation rewards program helps them to create a safe space for experimentation, promoting bottom-up idea generation and empowering colleagues to test & make better data-driven decisions. Michael Aagaard and I were impressed by the story, the fit for the audience, and the potential delivery quality.
What will her topic be about? A deep dive into the A1 experimentation rewards program and sharing what she learned from it.
Marta won this keynote spot by applying for the keynote speaker competition when she signed up as a #CH2024 attendee. Towards the conference, Marta will be coached by Michael Aagaard to tweak the storytelling and delivery of her talk.
