In a grand finale to our celebration, I am delighted to introduce our closing keynote speaker, Greg Shapiro, the American Netherlander. Greg is a seasoned comedian, author, and speaker, who made the Netherlands his home years ago. This celebration year, Greg represents #CH2015.
We first invited Greg in 2015 to deliver a keynote on the cultural differences between sales in the US and the Netherlands. We didn’t announce him as a comedian, so his humorous take on the previous speakers was an unexpected twist that entertained everyone. Greg’s hilarious performance made such an impression that we invited him back for our 5th anniversary in 2018. This time, he treated us to his legendary Trump impersonation, even announcing all the speakers in the distinctive Trump style!
What sets Greg apart is his full engagement in the event. Like our industry speakers, he participates in the unconference sessions, sharing insights and contributing wherever possible. And, like us, he is an optimizer. His tips on stage lighting still illuminate our performances today.
This year, we’ve asked Greg to absorb all the sessions over the weekend, soak up the event’s vibe, and encapsulate it all in the final session on Sunday morning. He will bring his unique American Netherlander style to a summary of the weekend, guaranteed to be unforgettable.
