Biography
If you look at the top 10 most visited websites in the UK you will see the usual suspects like Google / Youtube, Facebook / Instagram, and Wikipedia. There is only 1 pure local organization in that top 10: The British Broadcasting Corporation – BBC. Talking about experimentation Power! Divya is leading experimentation on all products and platforms for the BBC.
When did you meet Divya? At Experimentation Elite in London in December 2022. We were both speakers at this event and met at the speaker’s dinner after the event. In those days Divya was still working at Accenture Song in the UK as Global CRO Lead. We had wonderful conversations about the approach of Acccenture on experimentation at their clients. An experienced consultancy look from Divya at experimentation, that you don’t meet that often.
Why did you invite Divya? Soon after our speaker’s dinner that December Divya became Head of Experimentation at BBC (no, that was not because of our conversation – unless she acknowledges it was). At #CH2024 Divya will be in this position for almost 2 years. I am curious about the growth steps she has made with experimentation at BBC, and what challenges she faced. An interesting former consultant look on scaling inhouse experimentation.
What will her topic be about? Inhouse experimentation. Inhouse experimentation at a large organization with a lot of users. Sharing learnings.
