Biography

So ok, (conversion) copywriting is underrated, while we all know that words can make a huge impact on conversions. We research, we hypothesize, we prioritize, and we create experiments with (un?)optimized copy. But even that experiment copy is just a local tweak. A local tweak that does teach you that clarity grows conversions, that motivation grows conversions, that certainty grows conversions. When did you look at your overall messaging strategy? It’s time now!

When did you meet Diane? A year ago when we were both speaking at a the How to Web conference in Romania. This event is focussing on “builders”. It’s the biggest start-up conference in Eastern Europe. I taught the attendees about CRO, Diane taught them about message-market fit, and got the attendees engaged and inspired.

Why did you invite Diane? Copywriting is underrated, but I believe messaging is even more underrated in the world of optimization and experimentation. Long term – short term, big project – small iterations kind of issues. It does not have to be like that. I believe that Diane can enlighten us. Loved her delivery in Romania – good slides, strong story, energetic talker.

What will her topic be about? Messaging strategy: inspiring us to experiment with our message-market fit.
