#CH2026: Shirley van Haalem
Biography
Demystifying Accessibility in the Age of AI. Accessibility belongs high on your optimization roadmap. Shirley connects lived experience, conversion data and AI readability to show why. Her talk explores how removing barriers can improve the experience for people with disabilities, make websites easier to use more broadly and help machines understand them too. A call to action for experimenters: discover who your website leaves behind and start building a better experience. Please meet one of the keynote competition winners of #CH2026:
Shirley van Haalem, a CRO Manager and Experimentation Consultant at Online Dialogue, with a special passion for digital accessibility. With experience on both the agency and client side, she brings together data, psychology and UX to help organizations develop their CRO programs. She works with multidisciplinary teams to turn customer understanding into practical improvements, including making digital experiences accessible to more people.
Shirley has attended many editions of Conversion Hotel, even before joining Online Dialogue, the agency I founded and sold over two years ago. She is still there, helping organizations improve their customer experiences. Her dedication to accessibility deserves a main stage conversation, and this year she will tell you why.
Shirley won this keynote spot by applying for the keynote speaker competition when she signed up as a #CH2026 attendee. She recorded her pitch video and was selected as one of the four winners of a main stage slot. Ahead of the conference, Michael Aagaard will coach Shirley to fine-tune the storytelling and delivery of her talk.
Enjoy Shirley on stage at #CH2026, and Shirley: thank you for applying!
